Visit deputy Jack van der Hoek to the EHC

On 18 July, deputy Jack van der Hoek and a couple officials visited the Energy & Health Campus (EHC) in Petten. Jack van der Hoek is a representative of the province of Noord-Holland and has the subjects Economy, including education and labor market, Agriculture and fisheries, Animal welfare, Governance, Europe, Recreation and tourism in his portfolio.

During his induction period, the deputy will visit various organisations and institutions. Van der Hoek had extensive conversations with Hermen van der Lugt, managing director of PALLAS, about the importance of medical isotopes and what is involved in the construction of a new reactor. Jelle Beemsterboer, alderman for Spatial Planning and Economy of the Municipality of Schagen, gave a presentation on the state of affairs of the Energy & Health Campus for those present.
