The SHEQS Assistant provides administrative support to the execution of the Security, Health, Environment, Quality and Safety responsibilities of the PALLAS organisation, as defined in its ISO certified Integrated Management System.

Depending on your experience, flexibility and interests we can offer a full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time (60%-80%) position. You will report to the SHEQS Manager.


As a SHEQS Assistant, you:

  • Proactively provide SHEQS administrative support and ensure that SHEQS procedures, instructions, reports, registers, actions  and other records are accurately kept, stored and published (e.g. through the Microsoft SharePoint based PALLAS document management system);
  • Work with the various departments/teams to maintain, improve and develop the quality of their SHEQS related procedures, instructions, reports, registers and actions;
  • Maintain, prepare, develop and publish company SHEQS information and draft reports (e.g. Quarterly Management Reviews, KPI reports, CO2 Footprint etc.);
  • Communicate and liaise with internal ‘clients’ to support them with their SHEQS compliance work towards contractors and supply chain contacts;
  • Maintain the SHEQS Issues and Incidents Register and assure proper follow-up is given to the related actions;
  • Maintain and plan the SHEQS auditing program, take care of its execution and support the administration of the responses to the follow-up actions;
  • Participate in internal and external (contractor and supplier) SHEQS audits.

Your profile

We are looking for a SHEQS Assistant, located in the Netherlands, who:

  • Has a higher level (or mid-level with proven experience) of professional education;
  • Has experience with management systems that are ISO standard based (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001);
  • Is quality, safety and security conscious;
  • Has excellent attention to details;
  • Has a ‘Customer’ focus and is result oriented;
  • Has organisational skills and the ability to organise their work and workload;
  • Values their team and ensures regular, clear and correct communication.

Languages: English and Dutch (fluently spoken and written).

PALLAS offers a very competitive salary, ranging from € 2.847 – € 3.794 gross per month plus holidays allowance (8%), depending on your education and experience. PALLAS will support you in becoming and remaining suitably qualified and experienced by supporting the necessary training and qualification.

You will be directly employed at PALLAS, starting with an annual employment contract. Based on the overall performance and results achieved, you will be offered the opportunity for renewal to an indefinite period contract.
