The reactor building contains the reactor, irradiation facilities, and all services required to control the reactor. Attached to it is the logistics building with services such as electricity, ventilation, and air cooling for the reactor building, but this building also contains laboratories, workshops, storage areas, and loading and unloading areas for packaged isotopes. The reactor building and its associated L-shaped logistics building are the largest of all the buildings and the function of both is closely linked to engineering and safety.
