Global leader in medical isotopes
Every day, more than 30,000 patients worldwide rely on medical isotopes produced in Petten. This makes the Netherlands one of the largest producers in the world. With the arrival of the PALLAS-reactor, we will continue to fulfill this essential role – now and in the future.
New reactor, new possibilities
The PALLAS-reactor will replace the current High Flux Reactor (HFR) and is designed for the production of isotopes used in diagnostics, therapy, and (medical) nuclear research. In this way, we support the development of new treatments and contribute to innovation in healthcare and the energy transition.
