Preparatory works on the site enable the construction of the PALLAS-reactor. Construction preparations have been underway since the second half of 2022. Currently, the construction pit is being realised. A hole of approximately 50 metres by 50 metres and 21 metres deep is dug to create a pit into which the reactor will later be placed.
